Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

1  You can still register for the 2013-2014 academic year at Sacred Heart Catholic Academy.  We would like to encourage prospective families to attend the Open House Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  We look forward to welcoming your child/children to our school! Please refer to the bulletin for additional information about various save the date events.

2  CCD Program registration starts on Saturday, September 14 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Register your child for First Communion and Confirmation classes for the year 2013 – 2014. Please refer to the bulletin for additional information.

 3  The English Charismatic Prayer Group invites you to their annual Prayer Breakfast and Revival on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Sacred Heart School Auditorium. Our Guest Revivalist/speaker will be Rev. Bill Halbing from Immaculate Church in New Jersey. We will also continue with the Revival on Monday, September 16, Tuesday September 17 and Wednesday September 18 in the Church at 7:30 PM.  Donation $15.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Children 12 years and under. Please refer to the bulletin for additional information.

4.  If you are 13 yrs to mid - 20's, you are welcome to join the Youth Choir on Sundays 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM in Fr. Nolan's Unity Room (rectory basement).  Registration begins on August 18, 2013 by signing the registration form in the rectory for the 2013-2014 choir year. We will start on September 8, 2013Come join us and sing praises to the Lord!  

5.  Children ages 5 through 13 are invited to join the Children’s Choir on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM for registration in Sacred Heart Church.. The Children’s Choir meets for rehearsal in the Church every Saturday at 2:00 PM.  Come join us and sing praises to the Lord!  

6. Sacred Heart Dance Ministry is now open to new members!  Ladies ages 12 - 16, with a passion for God, are welcome to open registration and orientation on Sunday, September 22nd 2013.  Registration and orientation will be held for 30 mins following each scheduled Mass.

 Also the leaders are reaching out to the community for a choreographer with experience in liturgical dance to come forward and contribute.  Please leave contact information in the rectory or contact the leaders if interested.
